A RAINHA DO SOUL
Música: I Say A Little Prayer
Intérprete: Aretha Franklin
CD: Aretha Now (1968)
I Say A Little Prayer
The moment I wake up,
before I put on my make up
I say a little prayer for you
While combing my hair now
And wondering what dress to wear now
I say a little prayer for you
REFRÃO
Forever, and ever, you'll stay in my heart
And I will love you
forever and ever we never will part
Oh, how I love you
Together, together that's how it must be
To live without you
Would only be heart break for me
I run for the bus dear,
while riding I think of us, dear
i say a little prayer for you
At work I just take time,
and all through my coffee break time
I say a little prayer for you
My darling' believe me,
for me there is no one but you
Please love me too
I'm in love with you
Answer my prayer
Say you love me too
Why don't you answer my prayer, yeah
You know every day I say a little prayer
I say, I say, I say a little prayer

A MAIS NOVA ESTRELA DO SOUL
Música: Warwick Avenue
Intérprete: Duffy
CD: Rockyferry (2008)
Warwick Avenue
When I get to Warwick Avenue
Meet me by the entrance of the tube
We can talk things over little time
But promise me you wont stand by the light
When I get to Warwick Avenue
Please draw the past and be true
Don't say we're okay
Just because I'm here
You hurt me bad but I wont shed a tear
I'm leaving you for the last time baby
You think you're loving,
But you don't love me
And I've been confused
Outta my mind lately
You think you're loving,
But I want to be free, baby
You've hurt me.
When I get to Warwick Avenue
We'll spend an hour but no more than two
Our only chance to speak once more
I showed you answers, now here's the door
When I get to Warwick Avenue
I'll tell baby there we're through
Cause I'm leaving you for the last time baby
You think you're loving,
But you don't love me
And I've been confused
An outta my mind lately
You think you're loving,
But you don't love me
I want to be free, baby
You've hurt me.
All the days spent together
I wish for better,
And I didn't want the train to come
Now it's departed, I'm broken hearted
Seems like we never started
All those days spent together
When I wished for better
And I didn't want the train to come.
No, no.
You think you're loving
But you don't love me
I want to be free, baby
You've hurt me
You don't love me
I want to be free
Baby you've hurt me
