PRECIOSA (PRECIOUS - 2009)

Sinopse: 1987, Nova York, bairro do Harlem. Claireece "Preciosa" Jones (Gabourey Sidibe) é uma adolescente de 16 anos que sofre uma série de privações durante sua juventude. Violentada pelo pai (Rodney Jackson) e abusada pela mãe (Mo'Nique), ela cresce irritada e sem qualquer tipo de amor. O fato de ser pobre e gorda também não a ajuda nem um pouco. Além disto, Preciosa tem um filho apelidado de "Mongo", por ser portador de síndrome de Down, que está sob os cuidados da avó. Quando engravida pela segunda vez, Preciosa é suspensa da escola. A sra. Lichtenstein (Nealla Gordon) consegue para ela uma escola alternativa, que possa ajudá-la a melhor lidar com sua vida. Lá Preciosa encontra um meio de fugir de sua existência traumática, se refugiando em sua imaginação.

Colour me free é o quarto álbum de estúdio da cantora britânica Joss Stone, lançado em 20 de outubro de 2009 pela TARGET nos E.U.A, e em outras localidades dia 2 de novembro.
Com o intuito de fugir da "Era comercial" que assola a indústria músical, a cantora apresenta um CD com canções, segundo a crítica, nada comerciais, mas de muita qualidade.
A própria capa faz referência a essa situação do mercado fonográfico, em que Joss aparece em uma prisão (a "comercialização"), fragmentada e descolorida.
